If you have made it to this page, thank you for taking the time to explore my work.
When I began this project, I wasn't trying to convince people that social media is bad or that we should all delete our accounts. Social media has the power to inspire, educate, and connect us in ways that weren't possible before. But somewhere along the way, many of us have become so focused on staying connected online that we've started drifting away from the people right in front of us.
As I researched this topic and created each project, I found myself reflecting on my own habits. I realized how easy it is to spend hours scrolling without remembering what I even looked at, to compare myself to people I'll never meet, or to reach for my phone instead of enjoying the moment I'm already in. If you've ever felt that way too, you're not alone.
Now, here's my challenge for you.
When you close this website, don't open another app. Instead, text a friend you've been meaning to catch up with. Call a family member. Go for a walk without your phone. Sit outside and watch the sunset. Have a conversation that's uninterrupted by notifications.
The goal of this portfolio was never to make you feel guilty for using social media. It was simply to remind you that the most meaningful moments in life aren't measured by likes, followers, or views—they're measured by the people we share them with.
Thank you for visiting.
